Longs Peak Hospital Foundation
Longs Peak Hospital Foundation
At UCHealth, giving back is part of who we are.
We help patients in need, we help employees in need, and we support departments and programs to get the training and equipment they need that isn't funded in the budget. You can support the health of your local community through a gift to your local foundation.
Employee donations help make it all possible!
Giving is easy! You can give:
- Recurring payroll deduction
- One-time payroll deduction
- PTO hours donation
All payroll deductions and PTO donations are tax deductible. Your total donations for the year appear on your Lawson payroll statement and can be found on your personal profile page on this website.
Longs Peak Hospital Foundation provides funding to support innovative research and education, patient financial assistance, community health programs, enhancements to patient care, employee scholarships and more. Many critically important services offered for UCHealth patients and families in the Longmont area would not exist without private donations made through the foundation. 100% of every donated dollar goes to the foundation’s philanthropic funds, with no overhead costs or administrative fees. The UCHealth north region matches all employee gifts $.50 per $1 — deepening your impact.
Service area/reach: Patients and community members from Longmont, Frederick, Firestone, Berthoud and beyond benefit from programs and services supported by Longs Peak Hospital Foundation.
Meet Phil Wynn
Phil is the Emergency Preparedness Program Manager for LPH Support Operations.
Q: What motivates you to be a contributor?
A: "I have had the opportunity to be the beneficiary of many contributions, support and various other organizational assistance programs, so I truly understand the impact these services can have on a family in need. I will never hesitate to improve the lives of the employees we work with and those in the community we work for. Ensuring the success and wellbeing of those around me fosters a strong team mentality and healthy community.
"I chose to donate to the women and children's fund because I know how important it is to get a good start in life. Helping to ensure families receive the quality care they need, especially children, is the least I can do."
"The hardest-working people I have ever met were single parents, especially single moms. I'm continually in awe of the hard work and sacrifices they put in to taking care of their family. If I can provide them with at least a little relief by supporting them through the foundation, I hope it lessens their burden by that much."
"I know there is still a great impact when my contributions are combined with the contributions of others. And I know that without those gifts, we wouldn’t be able to support our patients or each other in the same way."
Meet Heidi Bradley
Heidi, an RN, is the Director of Women and Children’s Care.
She is also a member of Longs Peak Hospital Foundation's Founders Society.
Q: Why do you choose to give?
A: "Being a former single teen parent, I personally know the challenge that comes with trying to balance parenting, attending school full time, and working. I am incredibly grateful for the individuals I have met along my journey who have had a heart for giving and a desire to help others, whether through financial support or giving of their personal time. They made my journey a little easier. I feel fortunate to now be in a position of financial security, and I want to be able to pay it forward to someone else in a time of need on their journey. There are times when I may not have been able to give much; however, I know there is still a great impact when my contributions are combined with the contributions of others. And I know that without those gifts, we wouldn’t be able to support our patients or each other in the same way."
